Salt beef silverside joint
Home-cured salt beef made from pasture-fed beef silverside. We cure all our salt beef at Garlic Wood using our own 100% natural blend of sea salt and brown sugar.
Gently boil a salt beef joint in water alongside a couple of chopped carrots and onions, some pickling spices and a bay leaf or two for a delicious alternative to a traditional roast dinner. This joint is also perfect shredded and served with mustard and pickles - either hot or cold.
Sold uncooked. Each joint is cut to 1kg
This cut is supplied fresh-frozen. Once unpacked it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be treated as fresh and cooked within 5 days. Any dish cooked with the product is perfectly safe to refreeze.
