Pasture-fed beef chuck eye steak

Slices of well marbled 35-day dry-aged chuck steak. Cut from the shoulder this muscle is loosely textured and has a good amount of fat running throughout - giving it an incredible flavour and surprising tenderness.

An extension of the ribeye muscle, a well trimmed chuck eye steak is tender enough to season and flash-fry. It also makes an excellent braising cut as well as being the ideal base-meat to choose if you're a burger perfectionist. The texture of chuck plus the generous layers of fat mean that minced or finely chopped with the addition of some sea salt and black pepper it will make the ultimate hand-made steak burger. For a truly indulgent burger add in some bone marrow from our pasture-fed beef marrow bones and finish with a rasher or our home-cured free-range streaky bacon

Chuck eye steak is sold in 500g.

This product is supplied frozen.

We age all our beef on the bone before carefully preparing and packing it. Our chuck steak is then 'fresh-frozen' in small batches to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Once unpacked it can either be placed straight into the freezer or allowed to defrost fully in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be cooked within 5 days. Any meal cooked with this product is safe to refreeze.
