Wild rabbit is a lean, delicately flavoured and versatile seasonal treat.
Cook in a stew with winter vegetables, pearl barley, thyme, prunes and cider and serve with warm buttered crusty bread. This simple meal is the ultimate rustic sharing dish.
Available whole or portioned. Each rabbit serves 3-4 people.
This product is supplied ‘fresh-frozen’. We carefully butcher and pack all our game in small batches before freezing it to ensure quality and freshness. Once unpacked it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be treated as fresh and cooked with 5 days. Any meal made with our game is safe to refreeze.
