Pasture-fed beef oxtail

Slices of 100% pasture-fed beef oxtail. Perfect for a slow-cooked stew.

Oxtail is a good value cut that packs plenty of flavour. Cook this cut simply in a slow stew and you will be rewarded with meat that falls off the bone, plenty of rich beefy flavour and a silky smooth gelatinous gravy from the marrow within the bone.

Oxtail is a classic hearty and nutritious dish. It's been sadly overlooked but is definitely finding favour once again amongst those who want to embrace the ethics of nose-to-tail eating.

Average 1.2kg per oxtail

This cut is supplied fresh-frozen. Once unpacked it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be treated as fresh and cooked within 5 days. Any dish cooked with the product is perfectly safe to refreeze.
