Pasture-fed cote de boeuf
Put simply a Cote de Boeuf is a rib-eye steak on the bone. This thick cut-steak is given extra flavour by being left attached to the rib bone. It can be cooked on the BBQ or seasoned and seared in a pan before being finished in a hot oven. After being left to rest it makes a stunning sharing steak to feed 2 hungry people.
Our 100% pasture-fed dry-aged Cote de Boeuf are cut to a minimum 1.1kg weight (serves 3-4 people)
This product is supplied frozen. After dry-ageing our beef on the bone we carefully prepare each cut before fresh-freezing in order to ensure it arrives in perfect condition. Once unpacked the joint can be placed straight into the freezer or allowed to defrost fully in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it can be treated as fresh and should be removed from the packaging and cooked within 5 days. Any dish made using our Cote de Boeuf is safe to refreeze.
