Canoe-cut marrow bone
Cross-cut full-length sections of grass-fed beef marrow bones.
These 'canoe-cut' bones are perfect for a simple but luxurious treat. Roasted and served with butter, chopped fresh parsley and a sprinkle of sea salt the rich marrow melts and can be scooped out and spread on toast. As well as the rich and intense flavour this dish packs all the goodness of 100% pasture-fed beef marrow.
One or two pieces per person will be plenty for a decadent starter. Alternatively, if you are looking to make the ultimate beef burger why not scoop the marrow from the bones and add to our ground steak mince with a pinch sea salt and cracked black pepper. Roughly shape and cook on a hot griddle for a proper steak burger.
Sold individually. Weight varies, but average 200-250g uncooked.
This cut is supplied fresh-frozen. Once unpacked it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be treated as fresh and cooked within 5 days. Any dish cooked with the product is perfectly safe to refreeze.
