100% natural, nitrate-free unsmoked streaky bacon.
This simple unsmoked streaky bacon is cured from high-welfare free-range pork belly using 100% natural ingredients. The extra fat and rind make it perfect for anyone who loves their bacon crispy, and its equally good as an ingredient for wrapping roasts and chopping into sauces, stews, casseroles and pies.
Because we don't add any chemicals during the curing process you may notice a slightly darker colour to our streaky bacon than standard chemically-cured bacon. This is normal and does not detract from the flavour - in fact its exactly as bacon should be!
Sold in multiples of 250g (average 8-10 rashers)
This product is supplied frozen. We dry-cure our bacon in small batches before hanging and slicing it. We then pack and freeze each batch so that it arrives in perfect condition. Once delivered it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost fully in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be cooked within 10 days. Any product made with our bacon is safe to refreeze.
