Reared to the highest welfare standards with freedom to roam and forage in outdoor space and access to warm dry indoor shelter. Our spatchcock chicken are prepared from 2-2.5kg whole free-range chicken. Once trimmed and prepped each one chicken will weigh 1.8-2kg and will feed 4-5 people
Free-range spatchcock chickens are sold individually. We prepare, pack and 'fresh-freeze' them in small batches in order to guarantee they arrive in their best condition. They will be delivered frozen and once unpacked can either be placed straight into the freezer, or removed from the bag and allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted they can be treated as fresh and should be cooked within 5 days. Any meal made using the defrosted chicken can be refrozen after cooking.
