Venison saddle joint

Rolled saddle of wild Sussex Fallow venison. Aged on the bone for 2 weeks to ensure tenderness and maximise flavour.

Lean, dark and tender fallow deer loin, rolled into a stunning boneless saddle joint fit to grace the table at any celebration. This rich and flavoursome joint is perfect served slightly rare and accompanied with a red wine sauce and a dish of spiced red cabbage.

Our venison saddle joints are sold as 1kg and 2kg joints.

This product is supplied ‘fresh-frozen’. We carefully butcher and pack all our venison in small batches before freezing it to ensure quality and freshness. Once unpacked it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be treated as fresh and cooked with 5 days. Any meal made with our venison is safe to refreeze.
