Whole boneless pheasant, stuffed with free-range sausage-meat and wrapped in dry-cured streaky bacon.
Our stuffed pheasant cushions are a great alternative to a traditional roast pheasant. Quick and easy to roast they're ideal served with seasonal vegetables, buttery mashed potatoes and a rich gravy. We carefully remove all the bones from the pheasant before stuffing it with our 100% natural sage and thyme flavoured sausage-meat. The joint is then wrapped in 6 rashers of our own dry-cured streaky bacon.
Each bird weighs c650g and serves 2-3 people. May contain shot.
This product is supplied ‘fresh-frozen’. We carefully butcher and pack all our game in small batches before freezing it to ensure quality and freshness. Once unpacked it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be treated as fresh and cooked with 5 days. Any meal made with our game is safe to refreeze.
