Salt beef brisket joint
Home-cured salt beef made from pasture-fed rolled brisket. We make and cure all our salt beef at Garlic Wood using our own unique blend of pickling spices to give a delicate aromatic flavour.
Gently boil a salt beef joint in water alongside carrots, onions and a bay leaf or two for a delicious alternative to a traditional roast dinner. This joint is also perfect shredded and served with mustard and pickles - either hot or cold.
Sold uncooked. Each joint is cut to 1.5kg
This cut is supplied fresh-frozen. Once unpacked it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be treated as fresh and cooked within 5 days. Any dish cooked with the product is perfectly safe to refreeze.
