Partridge is a delicately-flavoured game-bird. Simply rub some butter on the skin and season before roasting in a hot oven for half an hour. For extra flavour add some stuffing to the cavity and cover with a slice or two of good quality fatty bacon before cooking and serve with seasonal vegetables.
Each bird serves 1 person. May contain shot.
This product is supplied ‘fresh-frozen’. We carefully butcher and pack all our game in small batches before freezing it to ensure quality and freshness. Once unpacked it can be returned straight to the freezer, or allowed to defrost thoroughly in the fridge before cooking. Once defrosted it should be treated as fresh and cooked with 5 days. Any meal made with our game is safe to refreeze.
