July 2024 update
Garlic Wood Butchery is moving!
There are exciting changes happening at Garlic Wood Butchery over the coming weeks. At the end of July we will be leaving our current premises and joining forces with Goodtrees Farm Butchery in Cowden, near Edenbridge.
Goodtrees Farm is an independent family-owned business operating a state-of-the-art on-farm butchery. By partnering with owner Ian and his team of dedicated and highly skilled butchers we will ensure we are able to continue to source and supply the highest quality, ethically-farmed produce for our customers.
Garlic Wood Butchery will continue to operate independently, and our customers will notice no change when ordering online and receiving orders for home delivery. Our commitment to working with the best nature-friendly and regenerative farmers will always remain at the heart of everything we do; in fact, this move to partner with Goodtrees Farm offers us an opportunity to grow the range of ethically farmed produce available and to further improve the level of service we offer.
This change takes effect from 1st August, and in the run up to the move we’ll be clearing all stock held at our current site. As a result you may notice some gaps in stock on certain items for a couple of weeks, but once we are up and running from the new site we will be fully stocked and our full nationwide home delivery service will resume. ‘Click and Collect’ will, initially at least, no longer be available as we switch to 100% delivery. However, we do have future plans for our collection scheme so watch this space!
Our butchery and sausage-making courses will continue unaffected. In a further development for us we are excited to announce that we will be relocating our programme of courses to Trenchmore Farm near Cowfold, West Sussex. More details can be found by visiting our butchery course page here .
Thank you once again for supporting Garlic Wood Butchery and if you would like to ask any questions about these changes please feel free to contact us.
