Christmas at Garlic Wood. Traditional, simple, ethical.
As friends and families begin to make arrangements for the festive season our thoughts turn to Christmas feasting. Food is at the heart of the celebrations as we come together over dishes and rituals that hold meaning beyond being just simple sustenance.
At Garlic Wood Butchery we understand the significance of the food we provide to our customers throughout the year - and at Christmas more than ever. When you buy your Christmas meat from us you can be sure that you are buying the best quality, from the highest welfare source, and with the minimum of stress and hassle.
High welfare, high quality
Whether its the traditionally dry-aged free-range bronze turkeys we source from the same family farm each year, locally farmed pasture-fed beef, Lamb from the heart of the South Downs National Park, or one of our home-cured free-range cider honey and juniper gammons we guarantee that we will take the same attention to detail and commitment to welfare with our Christmas meat as we do with all the produce we supply throughout the year. When you buy your Christmas meat from us you can also be guaranteed that your custom is helping to support the small-scale farmers, producers and businesses that are so essential to the viability of our rural economy.
Hassle free ordering , collection and delivery
We know Christmas is a busy and stressful time so we've made sure that ordering your meat from Garlic Wood couldn't be more straightforward. When you place your online order choose from national UK home delivery or opt to collect from one of our local 'click and collect' partners on a date that fits with your Christmas plans. Browse, order and sit back while we do the rest. For more details of our click and collect network can be found here
Our online shop is open and taking orders from November 1st.
Turkey and goose orders must be placed before December 10th to guarantee availability of sizes.
For all other items we can take orders right up until Christmas, but keep in mind some of our more popular products do tend to sell out quickly!
Click and Collect
Orders are available to collect from December 19th onwards. The final date for collection is December 24th. When placing your order use the drop down calendar on the checkout page to choose your collection date and location. Please note that collection times are subject to the opening hours of your chosen location (particularly on Dec 24th when some retailers will close early) so please ensure you check the times for your preferred location.
UK mainland home delivery
Christmas orders will be dispatched to arrive on either December 20th or 21st. We use an overnight home-delivery service and your order will be packed with ice in an insulated cardboard box (using sustainable wool insulation). All orders need to be signed for, or instructions left in the event that nobody will be home. When placing your order for home delivery please indicate either 20th or 21st December in the small note box on the checkout page, and let us know in the same space what to do in the event you're not going to be in to take delivery.
Thank you for choosing to shop with us, and happy Christmas from everyone at The Garlic Wood Butchery!
